Passed on from one generation to the next, Palestinian embroidery and cuisine have always been a cornerstone of our culture and existence. Every stitch and pattern and every recipe and dish tells the story of a city in Palestine. The essence of our identity is observed in the small details of how our ancestors lived, what they wore and ate and how they celebrated. A mosaic of artful, unique and precious traditions and aromatic flavours we refuse to give up wherever we exist on this earth, in Palestine and in exile.

What you will learn:


1.  All about Palestinian Embroidery, the history behind it and its cultural significance.
2. How to read and count cross stitch patterns.
3. The basic techniques of cross stitching.

Food and  Drinks:

Explore the delicious Palestinian cuisine with dishes and drinks from a different city each class that pair with the focus of the class. Menu to be announced before each class.

1X Old cookie box or alike to store your kit
